About
My name is Andrew Watters. I’m a 17-year-old programmer and devoted boyfriend. I'm on track to graduate from Auburn University with a Bachelor's in Computer Science in 2029, with a focus on cybersecurity and AI. Ideally, I’d pursue a master’s afterward. I enjoy precision and admire simplicity.
Hobbies
I spend a lot of time outdoors. I enjoy gardening, competition shooting, fishing, and paddleboarding, especially right before the sun sets and the light diffracts just right. One of my favorite places to visit is a crystal-clear spring in Florida that’s perfect for swimming, freediving, and just generally chilling. The water stays a cool 68 degrees year-round, and there’s something wonderful about diving into a cavernous spring, grabbing snapping turtles and climbing the partly submerged cypress trees. Outside of the outside activities, I enjoy programming, reading, cultivating my music taste and exploring cybersecurity "ethically". I also have an extensive watch collection, with Citizen, Seiko, and Bulova being my favorite brands. My favorite watch movement is Bulova's "smooth sweep" caliber P102, which manages an astounding +/- 10 seconds per year.
Projects
Idle hands are the devil's plaything, and therefore I’m always working on something new. I intend to make many of my smaller projects available for download here. Some of my more interesting work includes an external, undetectable ESP hack for Counter-Strike 2 written almost exclusively in Go, research into non-recursive zip bombs, and a neat typing system that allows for ~40 WPM with solely a joystick called Radial-Based-Texting. I also founded EZ Controllers after winning the 2024 Be More Fund grant, where I focus on improving accessibility in gaming through more inclusive gaming peripherals.
